Sound Garden

Sound Garden

“In collaboration with Gap Filler, the Sound Garden was created as a social space for local workers to have lunch and for children of all ages to play.

The garden was dismantled in October 2014 to make way for rebuild projects, and it was re-born as Sound Garden 2.0 at 100 Peterborough Street in March 2015.”

In collaboration with Gap Filler, the Sound Garden was created as a social space for local workers to have lunch and for children of all ages to play.

The original Sound Garden opened as part of FESTA on Labour Weekend 2013, when the artists who worked on the project performed an opening piece. This was followed by anyone and everyone joining in using other extraordinary instruments from the Random Acts of Music collection.
